Wow! ManaiaKalani and its teams has helped me demystify a lot of the digital world for me. Especially Google Drive and the apps on there like Sheets, Slides, Doc's and shown me how to use them MORE effectively. Its forced me into using things more (such as Forms, Scratch, Maps) and shown me ways in how I can implement it it the classroom - which was necessary for my own learning and for me to met the needs of our 21st century learners. I have immensely enjoyed and found having an array of facilitators great as each one came with their own specialties and wealth of knowledge.
Highlights that impacted my practices have included using blogs. From setting up blogs. Understanding the purpose of blogs and getting into the practice of blogging and how we can do it well in the classroom. This course has also shown me a plethora of tips and tricks that have made my life SOOO much easier and made using Google apps sooo much more kinder and straight-forward such as filing in Google Drive, using bookmarks in Google Doc's, how to link and how to apps such as Explain me for rewindable learning.
